	Bel's Starlet (1987) (Bel Bolide x Vigor's Star) Bel's Starlet was a California runner, trained by Richard Mandella and owned by the Mabees of Golden Eagle Farm. She twice won the Cal Cup Distaff. Her total earnings with 46 lifetime starts was $863,802. She sold at the 1999 Keeneland Nov. sale for $500,000 to Lakland Farm (KY and FL). Her last foal was a 2003 colt by Point Given. 	Smokie's Love Smokie's Love is a retired Thoroughbred jumper. She arrived at the Haven in April of 2002! She is now 30 years old. Smokie is the official Greeter. When a new mare comes to the haven and is grazing outside the herd (as is proper before being invited to join the herd), it is usually Smokie who invites the newcomer into the herd.
	Barhopper (Gelding) Barhopper is 27 years old. He is a Quarter Horse and is his sponsor's long time buddy. We wouldn't swear to it in court, but we think Bars might just be his sponsor's favorite horse.
